Ovda Airport
Ovda airport is the secondary airport for those arriving to Eilat. The reason some of the flights arrive in Ovda is that big airplanes (747’s) cannot land at Eilat Airport. Ovda airport is a 50 minute drive from Eilat. A special bus shuttle which stops at all major hotels will take you into the city.

Due to the fact that Ovda Airport is a military base, the airport has modest facilities, only including a small terminal with a snack bar which is active only before and after a flight arrives at the airport.
