Ashkelon with kids
Ashkelon is a small frindly town at the southern end of Israel's Mediterranian beach with the Gaza strip at its border. Staying with kids in Ashkelon can be quite nice, especially for tourists arriving from France or French speaking countries - who will find plenty of companions in Ashkelon during the summer months.
Following are some spots you should visit while in Ashkelon with kids:
Ashkeluna - a Water Park with varied water slides, from mini slides for little kids to a very high and very long slides for the brave among us. For those who dosn't fancy the slides there is also a regular swimming pool.
Opening hours: Every week day between 8 AM and 6 PM. Closed on weekends. Admissions: approx 50 NIS per person.
Ashkelon Park - an archeologial park with various findings from different eras, as well as a Beautiful park with plenty of space to run and play for kids. It has a lot of picnic tables, great view and a direct access to one of many of the city's beaches.
Admission: 23 NIS per adult, 12 NIS per child, if you're with a car, a 10 NIS fee is required.

Yad Mordechai - 10 km from Ashkelon in Kibbutz Yad Mordechai you will find Israel's largest beehive compund. The visitors can hear an explanation about the production of honey, open the beehive and see the bees' every day chores and of course taste the best honey in Israel.
