We're coming to Israel in a few weeks, and I love playing golf. I'd like to know which are the best golf clubs in Israel?
Answer:
Although the weather in Israel is golf- friendly almost all year round, Golf has not become very popular in Israel to date. Historically there has only been one golf club in Israel – the Caesarea Golf club, and in recent years a new club has joined the Israeli Golfing scene – the “Gaash Golf club”.
Both Caesarea and Gaash (which are very close by) are very well accommodated and enjoy a population of a high socio-economical background. Being the first Golf club which is located at the prestigious Caesarea, the Caesarea Golf club enjoys an even higher class image.
The Caesarea Golf Club:
The 20 dunam main practice range is located at the south side of the artificial
lake and includes the following elements:
- Top tee - intended for 10 players, includes practice stands and Bermuda greens.
- Practice covering – intended for a maximum of 7 players, includes 7
artificial grass stands. - Two lower tee areas – 7 stands at every tee area, with Kookoi grass.
- At the vicinity of the Eucalyptus forest there is another practice range with 30
stands - Putting range – in front of tee 10 and intended specifically for putting
practice. Includes 9 standard practice holes. - Short game practice area – located behind the putting area and includes
two practice areas as well as a sand bunker. - New! An additional chipping green (includes a sand bunker and real grass) and
small putting green (artificial grass) adjacent to the large practice range, for
your convenience.

The Gaash Golf Club:
Gaash golg course, which was established in 1999 is a 9 hole course of 2700 meters in length.
Location: Next to “Hof Hasharon” natural reservoir, Gaash – approx. 30 minutes from Tel-Aviv and Haifa.
Prices:
9 holes, week days: 225 NIS
18 holes, week days: 325 NIS
9 holes, weekends: 300 NIS
18 holes, weekends: 400 NIS
DR basket of balls – 15 NIS
Practice area on week days – 40 NIS
Practice area on weekends – 60 NIS
